How we grow our Christmas Trees
Our Christmas Trees are planted 1.5m apart to provide space to become bushy and full. The conical shape gives a large area to decorate. Our trees are planted in rotation. After 3 years of care and attention, a tree will have grown to 1.8m and is ready for sale. In Kwa-Zulu Natal, there are usually late rains and therefore the trees only begin to turn their lush green colour close to cutting time.
Our trees are grown in open fields and are exposed to all the elements. We still try our best to give you the best tree possible, although sometimes mother-nature does influence the end result.

How to care for your Christmas Tree
- Do NOT transport on the back of an open bakkie or on the roof of a vehicle as this dries the tree out.
- Keep out of direct sunlight and away from air conditioner units.
- Place in stand to support tree upright, or use bricks.
- Fill the bucket with water and check the water level regularly. The water level should be above the top of the pipe of the stand.
- Do NOT place gravel or sand in the bucket.
- Do NOT place outdoors.
- Do NOT leave the tree in the car whilst shopping, get it home and into water immediately.
